Ibmc Franchisee Opens Store In Shanghai

BMC CHINA AG (“IBMC”) has opened its first franchise store in Shanghai.

The original plan for IBMC was to expand in second tier cities such as Wuxi, Suzhou, and Chong Qing. After receiving overwhelming demand by several franchisee applicants, IBMC finally agrees to let franchisee Ms. Peng open the first Shanghai location.

Frank Yuan, CEO of IBMC China stated ‘The Shanghai store is in a great location’ Yuan added ‘the top University in all of China, Fudan, is less than 1 mile away and the department store is also next to the largest consumer electronics store GOME‘. Yuan also added ‘Shanghai was not our first choice to open the store but our franchisee really believes in our brand and we also believe in our franchisee.’

Ms. Peng, franchisee for Can Can brand, exclaimed with excitement ‘Can Can brand will do extremely well in Shanghai, our first day opening had over 2,000 RMB in sales.’ She also added ‘our location within the department store is great, next to brand KAPPA, sportswear and casual brand with over 2,000 stores in China as well as other big China name brands.’
