Franchise industry in Malaysia has benefited from financing and advisory services provided by the SME Bank, a seminar was told.
Shakey Pizza, Nelson’s, Avon, Ninety Zero One, Home Power and the latest, Laksa Shack are among the example of successful companies under the franchising scheme that have gained benefits from services provided by SME Bank, said Jahara Ali, assistant manager special financing branches of SME Bank at a recent one-day seminar organised by Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) here.
‘Many companies have earned the benefit from SME through our financing and advisory services expertise,’ she added when presenting her working paper on ‘Enhancing competitiveness of women-owned enterprise.’
She said currently, SME Bank provides advisory services, investment and fund activities, and entrepreneur development to Malaysian entrepreneurs.
