IFA Requests Extension On Immigration ‘No-Match’ Rule

IFA:

The International Franchise Association has asked the Department of Homeland Security to extend the comment period for its supplemental proposed rule on Social Security “no-match” letters due to the confusion it causes for employers. The original rule required employers to clear up discrepancies when they receive notice from the Social Security Administration that an employee’s name and social security number don’t match.
