Papa Gino’s announced Wednesday that it has signed on its first franchisee - the first agreement of its kind in the 40-year history of the pizza chain.
The Dedham, Mass.-based company signed an agreement with Rajender and Sunita Malhotra to build 3 restaurants over the next 3 years.
While the locations have not been finalized, Beverly, Salem and Swampscott, Mass. will likely be the towns for the stores, according to a company release. Mr. and Mrs. Rajender and Sunita Malhotra are North Shore residents.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
