Print Three Franchising Corporation (“PTFC”) received the 2008 Gold Frankie Award in the category of Direct Marketing. A Frankie is a prestigious award presented annually by the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) for the best creative work in Canadian franchising. The Frankie finalists this year were selected out of a record-breaking 237 entry submissions from franchisors, advertising agencies and support service companies. The entries were judged on clarity of message, originality of concept, effective use of medium, quality of execution and overall presentation.
“We are extremely proud to win this prestigious award,” says Andrew Hrywnak, President of PTFC. “We have won bronze and silver Frankie awards in the past. This is the first time we have won gold, and it is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide our partners with relevant, valuable and effective marketing materials to promote and grow our business, particularly in the area of 1-to-1 direct marketing. Our direct marketing campaigns have proven to increase direct response rates from the average 1% – 2% to over 4% response.”
Eden Advertising and Interactive Inc. is the agency that developed the creative concept, copy and design of Print Three’s award-winning direct marketing campaign. “Eden’s mission is that through its technological and creative expertise, it can help clients meet their branding and growth initiatives,” says Esther Willinger, President of Eden Advertising & Interactive. “We believe that if a client is going to spend any money on a print campaign, particularly in direct marketing, the pieces must be unique, noticeable, relevant and as personal as possible to the target in order for it to be effective. We are proud to work closely with a client like Print Three that understand this personalized 1-to-1 marketing initiative and puts it to action in their own marketing campaigns. This is the fourth Frankie award we have won with Print Three.”
