The first Minnesota franchise of WHIZard Academy — a tutoring center that offers a customized teaching program based on Minnesota state curriculum requirements — will open in Eden Prairie on June 14, according to Claude Chenard & Associates LLC, which has purchased the Minnesota rights from the Canadian-based franchisor.
WHIZard Academy specializes in math, science and English using a multi-sensory approach that combines listening, reading and writing with individual attention by certified tutors. Unlike other tutoring centers, each student’s program is tailored to state requirements. In addition, WHIZard Academy assists students in their classroom tests and exams.
