Norman Boyd & Drew Liedeker, Austin, TX franchise owners of The Cleaning Authority (TCA) were recently named Franchisee of the Year for 2007. Awarded at the national convention in Baltimore, the Franchisee of the Year is The Cleaning Authority’s most prestigious honor. In addition to the corporate accolade, this award comes with a brand new PT Cruiser from Chrysler Corporation, complete with a corporate vehicle wrap.
Norman & Drew opened their residential cleaning franchise in March 2003 and quickly skyrocketed to one of The Cleaning Authority’s top performers, culminating in the 2007 Franchisee of the Year Award. Boyd & Liedeker have grown their business from start-up, currently employing 51 people and servicing a customer base of around 610 homes. Boyd said, ‘The Cleaning Authority’s trademarked Detail Clean Rotation System and unsurpassed commitment to customer service has provided exactly the opportunity we sought.’
Both coming from white collar corporate settings, Norman & Drew were searching for an opportunity to utilize their professional skills and backgrounds while simultaneously having more direct control over their time and lives. After almost 2 years of searching independent business opportunities as well as franchises, they selected The Cleaning Authority, who was well on the way to becoming a leader in the residential housecleaning industry.
