First Watch Restaurants Inc. has hired Greg Michael, a former franchise manager for Dunkin’ Donuts, to serve as vice president of franchising for the Lakewood Ranch-based company.
Michael, who has also worked as a vice president of franchising and development for Hooters of America, will be responsible for all aspects of franchise development for First Watch. The restaurant chain recently announced expansion plans that include selling franchises in 35 states.
‘Greg brings a wealth of experience in both start-up and large-scale franchising efforts,’ said Kenneth Pendery Jr., chief executive officer of First Watch Restaurants. ‘First Watch is excited to tap into Greg’s expertise in identifying those franchisees who will best align with our company values to grow the brand.’
