Dunkin’ Donuts, the world’s largest coffee and baked goods chain, is proud to announce that Nation’s Restaurant News has awarded Danny Costa of Concord the prestigious honor of Franchisee Entrepreneur of the Year.
Costa was recognized for making consistent gains with entrepreneurial marketing and management tactics.
“I am proud to have been presented with this award which recognizes the tireless dedication of my team and the around-the-clock efforts of the employees at our Dunkin’ Donuts shops,” Costa said.
Costa co-opened his first Dunkin’ Donuts and founded his company, Costa Donuts Two, Inc. in 1993. He currently owns and operates 11 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Acton, Concord, Maynard, and Stow. As a Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee, Costa has served on numerous committees such as the Dunkin’ Donuts North Atlantic Regional Advisory Council, the Dunkin’ Brands People Subcommittee, the Dunkin’ Brands Advisory Council and the Dunkin’ Brands Restaurant Excellence Subcommittee. In his role with the People Subcommittee, Costa was instrumental in delivering a comprehensive health insurance program to the entire Dunkin’ Donuts system, which enables all restaurants to offer health benefits to their crew-level employees.
