Balancing a career with a family is not an easy task, which is why one parent often elects to stay home and raise the kids while the other continues to work. As the children age, stay-at-home parents often attempt to transition back into the workforce on a part-time basis but find the options extremely limited.

The Daily Herald reported a growing company, 10 til 2, is looking to change that outlook. The Colorado-based company is a part-time placement service specializing in placing college-educated professionals in long-term, part-time positions; there are now 17 franchises in 9 states, with another 20 expected to open this year.
