Walker’s Point Il Mito Restaurant Closed

Milwaukee chef Michael Feker has, for the second time, closed his Walker’s Point Il Mito restaurant.

Feker announced Friday the closing of the restaurant at 605 W. Virginia St. He had previously closed the restaurant in spring 2007 and then remodeled it and reopened later the same year with a new menu. Il Mito originally opened on Virginia Street in 2000.

Feker said he he will continue running his Il Mito Trattoria & Enoteca in Wauwatosa at 6913 W. North Ave. and also focus on a culinary school in Wauwatosa, television appearances and recently launched franchising plans.
