Smashburger Appoints New President

Food Business Review:

Smashburger, a fast casual restaurant chain, has appointed Scott Crane as the company’s new president.

According to the company, this appointment follows the recent closure of a $15 million round of funding by Consumer Capital Partners, or CCP for Smashburger’s planned expansion in the US.

As president, Mr Crane will oversee all operations including all field operations, operations support, sales and marketing implementation and food and equipment distribution.

Mr Crane previously served as executive vice president of Fugate Enterprises, an operator of over 300 franchise restaurants.

Smashburger has also announced that it will locate its corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
