Couple find the perfect balance.
Kieron and Justine Coughlan decided last year that they’d had enough of the 9-to-5 grind.
With two young children they were looking for something to fit around family life.
‘Kieron was working in a warehouse and I was on a career break,’ says Justine, 36. ‘I knew when it was time for me to go back to work that I’d have the problems of juggling work around school holidays.’
The Coughlans already knew about Chem-Dry, the carpet and upholstery cleaning service.
‘We had a flood at our home in Essex a few years ago and they helped to clean up,’ says Justine.
‘We got chatting to the guy doing the job and he really enjoyed running the franchise. That stuck in the back of our minds.
‘But we decided to find out a bit more about other opportunities in franchising before making a decision. We spent a long time researching the market and checked out a lot of franchises but kept coming back to Chem-Dry.
‘The main reason was that it offered 2 clear roles for us.

ohh good for them, they get to have franchise business for which both of them really plays specific role.
