Dunkin’ Donuts has dropped court proceedings against a Boston franchise owner it accused of violating the company’s store standards for health, sanitation and food safety.

“Dunkin’ Donuts withdrew the lawsuit after reinspecting the shop … and determining that the shop is now meeting our standards of health, sanitation and food safety,” Dunkin’ Brands Inc. spokesman Stephen Caldeira said in a statement. “We are pleased that the franchisee took quick action to adequately resolve this issue.” Read on.
