Raymond To Expand Number Of Stores

Leading luxury segment retail brand Raymond is planning to launch 40 additional franchisee and six exclusive stores across major tier I cities of the country by the end of current fiscal.

The company has 24 exclusive Raymond stores, besides 65 franchisee and 100 multi brand stores across the country presently,

Raymond Apparel Director (kids wear) Vineet Nair said on the sidelines of Pure & Play retail summit here.

As a part of the expansion plans, the company will also launch a new brand for kids wear.

“We are putting more emphasis on the kids wear segment and bring out an exclusive kids wear brand ‘Baby Zap’, which is focused on toddlers,” he said.

The new ‘Baby Zap’ brand will be tried out at some of the companies’ exclusive stores before it is sold in mass markets.

The ‘Baby Zap’ brand will have 40,000 sq ft of area exclusively dedicated at its various Raymond stores.
