DUCTZ owner Bill Polyniak searched the internet franchise web portals, did his homework and selected DUCTZ International as his business opportunity. “The franchise portals are an integral part of our franchise development marketing effort,” said John Rotche, DUCTZ president. “We rely on our portal partners to deliver qualified candidates, and they do.” Polyniak was in the “empty box” business for 18 years. He chose DUCTZ because he wanted something different, and DUCTZ was about as far away from it as he could get. He’s “excited to get started” because he sees the DUCTZ GO Green movement as a long-term opportunity for the business. “People are becoming serious about conservation, energy and the environment. Businesses attached to those interests will thrive,” says Bill. “Folks who never thought about duct-cleaning now see it as a priority in a healthier home and work environment.” Bill will operate the business full time from a home office with one technician serving the Lexington, Kentucky market.

Bill and his wife Adriane have two young children. Adriane shares Bill’s entrepreneurial bent and owns her own franchise. Bill most recently served as a sales rep for a major packaging company. But as manufacturing moved off shore, a competitive industry became “extremely competitive. I started in the business building tools, then designing boxes, now selling them,” said Bill. “I’m looking forward to opening my DUCTZ doors after training in early August. DUCTZ brings an organized approach to what is a mom and pop industry.”
