Betta To Add Furniture To Its Retail Mix

Privately owned franchise operator BSR Australia Ltd, better known as Betta, is to add furniture and related retailing to its core electrical appliance franchises, the company says.

BSR Australia took the Betta Stores retail franchise out of receivership in 2006.

The company is an umbrella division of Brisbane-based BSR Group and a sister division to BSR Franchising.

Many BSR franchises operate in regional Australia, including the Chandler brand.

BSR Australia said on Monday that it planned to invite furniture retailers to join its ranks.
