The affiliation commission allows a simple supplier to place permanently at the disposal of a distributor, independent merchandiser owner of his business land, a products stock.
The supplier keeps the ownership and the stock control; the distributor does not have to pay for the stock.
At this time, the contract can be done without franchise.
When the contract and its realization need a specific know-how, with a common brand, the affiliation commission contract becomes a franchising contract’s subset.
The affiliation commission system is independent even though it can be associated with a franchising contract.
