Don’t sign on the dotted line until you’ve got the answers to these 14 vital questions:

1. Will you supply me with a breakdown of all costs necessary to open the business?

2. Do I have to pay a deposit and will I lose it if I don’t proceed?

3. How much working capital do you think I need, and can you help to estimate projections?

4. How long will it take to start trading from signing the contract?

5. What will training consist of, how long will it last and is it included in the franchising fee?

6. What is my expected breakeven and how long should it take to reach this?
