MobileNxt, a retail chain of one-stop-shop for mobile sets and accessories, finally backed by Network 18Group, has set a target of opening 500 stores in next two years, said its CEO Vijay N Menon.
He was speaking to reporters prior to the inauguration of its 50th franchisee store, in partnership with franchisee tallur Shivaprasad Shetty, near Service Bus Stand here on Tuesday.
He said that MobileNXT would expand its reach to tier 2 and 3 cities in India. Each of the MobileNXT stores, apart from being a one-stop offering mobile handsets, accessories and unique exchange facilities and strong after sales service, will also have kiosks, where customers download music, ring tones, wall papers, themes etc.
