Maitland-based Liberty Lodging, LLC is planning a September 8 opening for its first extended-stay economy hotel in Arizona.
The hotel franchisee said it will open a Value Place hotel northwest of Phoenix in Peoria, Ariz. The company plans to open its second Arizona location in Dunlap, another suburb of Phoenix, in April 2009.
The Value Place brand – which offers lodging by the week and includes rooms with a full kitchen — caters to business travelers, as well as people who are in transition, the company said.
Liberty Lodging LLC opened its first Value Place in May 2007 in Clarcona, Fla., and has opened 11 others since then. Other Florida locations include Clermont, Ocala, Panama City, Lakeland and Tallahassee.
