The Expert Group on Future Skills Needs has estimated that over the next number of years 500,000 individuals in Ireland will need to be ‘up-skilled’.
Government has committed over 7 billion euros to up-skilling the workforce under the NDP, while employers spend over 1 billion euros annually on training and development.
