Famous Dave’s of America Inc (Nasdaq:DAVE), an owner, operator and franchiser of barbeque restaurants, announced on Thursday (11 September) the appointment of Christopher O’Donnell as the company’s new president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. O’Donnell replaces Wilson Craft, who has resigned from the company.
Most recently O’Donnell was chief operating officer of the company, a position he has held since 2007. Prior to that he was executive vice president of Operations and, before that, senior vice president of Operations. He joined Famous Dave’s in 1998 as vice president of Teaching and Learning.
He was previously vice president of Product Development for Pencom International and an operating partner in the sister company of Pencom, Premier Ventures.
