Baskin-Robbins, the ice cream franchise, is expanding its Texas footprint by opening Wichita Falls for franchise sales.
According to a company news release, more than five new stores are projected over the next several years throughout Wichita Falls and the surrounding counties of Wichita, Archer, Wilbarger and Young, among others.
Currently, Baskin-Robbins operates more than 90 stores across Texas and plans to open 300 locations statewide in small and large markets over the next several years, according to the release. Baskin-Robbins will open more than 400 stores globally in 2008.
Baskin-Robbins’ Wichita Falls launch is part of a growth strategy, which includes expanding in existing markets while entering new cities. The company is actively seeking new franchisees willing to own and operate multiple stores in Wichita Falls and the surrounding counties.
