Salon Giant Coming To Stouffville

The self-described “largest no-appointment hair salon brand in North America”, is coming to Stouffville.

Minneapolis-based Great Clips Inc., expects to open more than 200 salons in the GTA including 15 by the end of 2009.

A Stouffville shop is scheduled to open by the middle of 2009, said Rob Goggins, vice president of franchise development, in a statement. A location was not announced.

The new stores will create 2,000 full-time and part-time jobs, he said.

Great Clips, which has one salon in Oakville, is opening another today at a SmartCentre in Aurora.
