Wichita’s third Denny’s location, at Kellogg and Rock Road, is one step closer to making a comeback.
A deal has been completed for land just east of the intersection to build a 3,900-square-foot restaurant near the site of the old
one, razed during the East Kellogg improvement project. And if franchisee David Boozary gets his way, a fourth Wichita Denny’s will follow.
Boozary’s Oklahoma City-based Dencom firm has purchased 40,000 square feet on the northeast corner of Kellogg and Rock.
A site plan for the new restaurant is being developed and should be filed with the city in a month, Boozary said.
With city approval, the restaurant should be open in January or February, he said.
