Cody’s, the convenience store chain named after Wild West icon Buffalo Bill Cody, is delivering foodservice with guns a blazing.
The 39-unit retailer entered into an agreement to be a Hot Stuff franchisee at 20-plus of its stores, according to Curtis Jared, president and CEO of Cody’s Convenience Stores.
“We’ve been very impressed with the quality, service, freshness and foodservice profitability that Hot Stuff has provided,” Jared stated. “Every 21 days, each of our stores receives a service visit from our Hot Stuff consultant who works hand-in-hand with our foodservice team on every dimension of our foodservice program. Most importantly, our customers love the taste of the fresh-made Hot Stuff pizzas, sandwiches and breakfast products, and we enjoy strong margins on the Hot Stuff program.”
