Zaxby’s Is Closed For Renovations

Lexington Dispatch:

Zaxby’s on Cotton Grove Road is no longer a locally owned franchise and has closed briefly for renovations, according to Nicole Jenkins, a public relations representative for Zaxby’s.

Former owners Matt and Jennifer Hall, who first opened the location in May 2000, recently sold the business to Zaxby’s Franchising, the company’s corporate entity. The fast-food restaurant specializes in chicken fingers and chicken wings.

“Zaxby’s Corp. said this is a great location and we would like to have it,” Jenkins said.

The restaurant closed Sept. 7 and will reopen in mid-October. The renovations include painting the interior, installing new booths and tables and new technology that will decrease customer wait times inside Zaxby’s and at the drive-thru, she said.
