IFA Voices Support For Measure To Extend Existing Tax Policy

Urging the Senate to consider an amendment to S. 6049 that was introduced by Sens. Max Baucus, D-Mont., and Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, the International Franchise Association explained how support of the bipartisan extension of existing tax policy will benefit many small franchised businesses and taxpayers. The “Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008″ would include a one-year extension of the 15-year cost recovery for qualified leasehold, restaurant and retail improvements.
