A Papa John’s pizza restaurant has opened in Latham, in the Airport Mobil gas station at 1114 Troy Schenectady Road, at the intersection of Albany Shaker Road.
It is the first Papa John’s restaurant to open in a convenience store, the company said Tuesday. The franchisee is Christian King.
Louisville, Ky.-based Papa John’s International Inc. formerly had a half-dozen restaurants in the Capital Region through franchisee Dynamic Pizza of suburban Buffalo, but they were closed abruptly in late 2002.
