Peter Piper Picks New CEO

Arizona Republic:

A former FedEx Kinko’s vice president has been named chief executive officer of Peter Piper Inc.

The Phoenix-based pizza franchise has tapped Joseph Luongo Jr. to head the private-equity-owned firm.

Luongo has franchising experience. He replaces previous CEO Frank Sbordone, who has left the company.

Luongo most recently was senior vice president of FedEx Kinko’s international division, where he ran all of the company’s operations outside the United States.

The Air Force veteran also worked for Pizza Hut and Starbucks earlier in his career.
