Pa. Dunkin’ Donuts Franchisee To Hold Mock Election

A Dunkin’ Donuts franchise in Central Pennsylvania is hosting a mock election event for Penn State University students and State College, Pa., residents.

The “mock election” Eat Your Vote event kicks off Oct. 24. Polls close at midnight Nov. 2. Voting results will be posted every day in the Dunkin’ Donuts located along College Ave. in State College. The final results will be announced Nov. 3, the day before the 2008 presidential election.

Customers vote by purchasing a red sprinkled donut in support of Republican candidate John McCain or a blue sprinkled for Democrat candidate Barack Obama. Undecided consumers may purchase a combination red and blue sprinkled donut. The donuts are either vanilla or chocolate iced.
