With a recession underway, cheap haircuts look better. Great Clips Inc. announced Tuesday it plans to open 300 new locations in North America through 2009.
The Edina-based salon franchiser said in a release that it would award 30 percent more franchises by the end of 2008 than in 2007. Great Clips has 2,700 salons in 130 markets in North America.
