On Thursday, November 20th at 2:30 pm, Brenda Maslamani, Great Clips franchisee owner, shaved her head for Children’s Miracle Network.
The Howell Mill Village Great Clips’ Assistant Manager, Jennifer Carmona led the fundraising effort with $548, and as a result, got to do the honor of shaving Maslamani’s head. Sharon Robinson from Children’s Miracle Network was in attendance.Maslamani issued the challenge — named “Operation Head Shave” — to her staff on September 20th. She challenged all three of her salons to raise $1,000 by November 16th for Children’s Miracle Network and waged shaving her head as collateral. Great Clips Atlanta salons exceeded their 2007 donation amount of $50,000 with a total donation to Children’s Miracle Network of $66,000.
