Delhi-based leather bags and accessories maker Da Milano is eyeing franchisee retailing model and airports across major metros for selling its products selling its products. Da Milano, a privately held firm, has initiated talks with retailers in Punjab, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai for a possible franchisee-agreement.
Besides, the company is also in talks with infrastructure firm GVK for entering the duty-free space of Mumbai’s international airport.
Da Milano, which primarily sells handbags, travel bags, footwear besides other leather accessories, was so far selling products through exclusive stores in selected locations including Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Gurgaon and Noida. Currently, the company has 11 exclusive stores and is eyeing 25 additional outlets across India in the next 18-20 months.
