Businesses Pitch Their Franchises At Expo

Nearly three years ago, three Miami businesswomen opened the first :10 Minute Manicure in a Cincinnati airport.
The company has opened 12 more outlets since, and as they look to extend the brand around the globe they’re turning to franchising.

:10 Minute Manicure is just one of about 200 companies — from pack-and-ship businesses to pizza restaurants to tanning salons — that will make their pitch at the Franchise Expo South.

About 15,000 people are expected at the Miami Beach Convention Center during the expo from Jan. 9 to 11.
Exhibitors are trying to sell their businesses to people with the energy and savvy to run a franchise — and anywhere from $10,000 to around $1 million to buy into the brand.
