Bookkeeping Express, the first U.S. franchise focused solely on bookkeeping services, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with Jackie Helton to open an office in Tallahassee serving Leon and Wakulla counties in Florida and Thomas county in Georgia. The new Bookkeeping Express office will be the first to open in Florida.

Helton graduated from the University of South Florida and has been a Certified Public Accountant in Florida since 1987. Her professional experience includes more than 11 years in various auditing and supervisory positions for the state of Florida.

Since leaving employment with the state to raise her family’s two daughters, she fills her time by volunteering at school and church and has continued her professional and business development by becoming an independent consultant. Ready to transition into the next phase of her professional life, Helton has decided to follow her entrepreneurial instincts and become a business owner. Through her education and work experience, she has always been fond of bookkeeping, making Bookkeeping Express a perfect match.
