Panera Operator Gives To Local Nonprofits

The area Panera Bread franchisee donated nearly $1 million in cash and product to groups throughout Southwest Ohio last year.

Breads of the World LLC, the area Panera Bread (Nasdaq: PNRA) operator, gave:

• $889,000 in product donations were made to area nonprofits;
• $18,000 for the Children’s Hunger Alliance;
• $6,500 for the American Cancer Society of Southwest Ohio; and
• $16,000 in product to charities throughout the region, including a food donation to The Foodbank, which distributes food to people in Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties.

Jim Hach, operating partner for the Greater Dayton-area Panera Bread locations, said his franchises are committed to donating to the communities they serve.
