Sunshine Coast, stand by for a Pizza Capers invasion.
Steve and Vanessa Davis opened the Coast’s first store, the gourmet pizza franchise’s 37th, at the Currimundi Marketplace last November.
The couple plans to open a second at Kawana by the end of the year. Another lease has been secured by another franchisee in The Sebel Resort in Maroochydore.
The Davises sold their Burpengary home and threw in non-related careers to take the plunge.
“I used to work in the agricultural chemical industry and we lived on small acreage,” Mr Davis said.
“But I was sick of the stress, so we sold up and moved to the Coast.
