The Great Recession apparently hasn’t cooled Wisconsin’s hunger for submarine sandwiches.
Wayne Kimmell of Monona has just opened a new Cousins Subs franchise at 5413 Monona Drive.
It’s the 17th Cousins in the Madison area and 110th in Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Cousins, Kimmell served as the director of operations for Noodles & Co. for 11 years. He also grew up with the restaurant industry in his blood as his father was a Burger King franchisee for nearly 30 years.
“It’s great to be serving the community where I’ve decided to live and raise my family,” he says.
