Dunkin’ Donuts Taps First Metro Franchisee

Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Brands Inc. has signed a multi-unit store development agreement with Peter Turner and partners, who will develop more than 20 Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the Twin Cities area. Dunkin’ Donuts currently has no locations in Minnesota, but has previously announced ambitious plans to open 100 stores in the area.

Dunkin’ has divided the area into five defined development areas and continues to seek franchisees for the other four territories. New franchisees must commit to develop a minimum of 20 stores.
