PRNewswire:

Members of Hotel Brokers International (HBI), the nation’s largest brokerage organization with more than 30 offices coast to coast, today announced the organization’s newly hbielected 2009 board of officers and directors. Jeff Westgor, CHB, of Westgor & Associates Inc. will succeed H. Brandt Niehaus, CHB, of Huff, Niehaus & Associates, Inc. as president.

“This honor is especially meaningful to me because 50 years ago my father was one of the founders of the Motel Brokers Association of America, the predecessor of HBI,” said Jeff Westgor, president of Westgor & Associates Inc. “Although the times have certainly changed, many of those tools and strategies he and the organization pioneered remain relevant.”

I think that this is a great move and a great opportunity by this broker to make the changes that need to be made. Hopefully the changes that need to be made come to pass sooner rather than later.
