Envos: 6 New Franchisees Signed This Year

The introduction of new government legislation has opened up a new market: since 1 January 2009, commercial properties being sold or leased require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Envos has put together a franchise package and is inviting people to join its system as a franchisee to undertake such surveys or manage a team that carry out the surveys on their behalf. It has, it says, already singed 6 franchise agreements this year.

According to the information provided, these surveys are carried out in a similar way to the energy efficiency ratings for household white goods. Envos franchisees are to provide similar ratings on commercial buildings throughout the country. There are, the company says, two types of surveys: one that is valid for 10 years and one that is renewed every 12 months. Envos provides its franchisees with the necessary backup, training and support to ensure they succeed.
