Navy Veteran To Open US Hero’s Subs Shop

Disabled vets have a new opportunity to start their own business.

Navy veteran Alan Spade will open U.S. Hero’s Subs Friday with the help of company owner Peter Weed.

The franchisee pays no upfront fees for three months while the business gets up and running.

Weed bought and renovated a former Wendy’s restaurant for Spade.

In fact, for every franchise sold, Weed promises to open up another one with a vet behind the counter.

“It just makes it to where I’ll be able to better care of my family and give them the life I think they need, think that they deserve,” Spade said.
