The success of doughnut and coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts in Kentucky and Indiana has prompted the company to expand its presence in the Louisville, Southern Indiana, Central Kentucky and Evansville, Ind., markets over the next few years.
Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Brands Inc. is seeking franchisees to own and operate a minimum of five new locations in Louisville, according to a news release.
Stores would be located in free-standing structures, shopping centers, convenience stores and other retail outlets.
According to the company’s Web site, www.dunkindonuts.com, there are 33 Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the Louisville area.
