Starbucks will open its first shop in Poland on Wednesday.
With Poland and the U.S., the chain has stores in 50 countries. It’s trying to ramp up foreign expansion while scaling back in the U.S., where same-stores sales have been clobbered.
Like many of the chain’s foreign locations, the new Warsaw store is part of a joint venture with another company, in this case AmRest Holdings.
