A national fast food chain restaurant in Retford has shut its doors just two years after opening.
The Subway store on Spa Lane was closed on Sunday after the franchise owner left the company.
The fast food chain, which specialises in submarine sandwiches, says it is a temporary closure.
“The Subway chain can confirm that its store at 6 Spa Lane has unfortunately been temporarily closed,” said a Subway spokesman.
“(We are) a franchise business and stores are individually owned by local entrepreneurs. The franchisee of the store in Retford has left the chain.”
