Mellow Mushroom Enjoys ‘Amazing’ Opening Weeks

It’s just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and the customers are already pouring into Mellow Mushroom, the new restaurant on Providence Main Street.

Mellow Mushroom, known for its pizza and beer, has restaurants throughout the South, West and Midwest – many in college towns.

The Huntsville location is one of about 100 Mellow Mushrooms nationwide. So far, it’s been wildly popular.

Since its opening on Memorial Day, the restaurant has had long lines and a sizable waiting list virtually every night.

The result has been the second-most profitable opening week in Mellow Mushroom history. Only the restaurant in Raleigh, N.C., had a better opening week.
