The Ponderosa restaurant at 828 Hebron Road closed permanently Sunday.
Ervin Campbell, spokesman for franchisee Mid-America Restaurant Ventures, confirmed Wednesday the restaurant has closed.
“The lease was coming to an end and, in this economy, this was the logical thing to do,” Campbell said.
The restaurant employed about 35 people, Campbell said.
Mid-America Restaurant Ventures operates nine other Ponderosa restaurants in central and southern Ohio. Those restaurants will remain open, Campbell said.
