Choice Hotels Europe has secured a direct franchising agreement and has opened in London.
The opening last week of the Quality Hotel Maitrise in Maida Vale, London, brings the number of Choice-branded hotels in the UK to 47.
The opening is part of its strategy to grow its business through third-party direct franchising agreements with UK-based companies and individuals.
Duncan Berry, chief operating officer at Choice Hotels Europe, said: ‘We are delighted to have secured this latest direct franchise agreement and are interested in working with other individual hoteliers and independent hotel groups who want to benefit from a global brand and worldwide infrastructure that Choice Hotels International provides.’
